On Impressions

Laughter for me is the best medicine. I try to smile and laugh as often as possible. I was too serious when I was young and I heard some feedback that I looked aloof. They said that I was such a grouch. After that, I tried to make a concerted effort to make myself as amiable and approachable as possible. I took things too seriously.

I had a paradigm shift.

Nowadays, I try to look for the positive in everything...situations and people. I learned to let go of things which I cannot control. Also I learned that people in our lives come and go so we have to relish whatever time we have with them. I have also learned to be more open and appreciative of people around me. Furthermore, I am not so hesitant now to show my affection.
