On Soap Opera

Soap operas have become a staple fare in the lives of a lot of people. It seems like they are living vicariously through the lives of the characters. It is also possible that many can relate to story. Situations are so exaggerated in the soap operas. It may also be that some of the audience feel a bit better when they watch these shows because it seems that their lives are better compared with the often chaotic ones of the characters. It may also be that they can find the excitement that they wish for in their lives in those of the characters. One thing though is that these shows can be very engaging and so addictive.
